MacKenzie graduated from Indiana University in Elementary Education with a minor in Health. She finished her Student Teaching at Carmel Elementary in Carmel, IN, where she taught 1st Grade and continued this career path as a Special Education Assistant in that same school. After moving to Johnson County, Mackenzie took a temporary 5th Grade Teaching Position at Clark-Pleasant Intermediate and finished teaching as a full time Kindergarten Teacher in Perry Township for the 2012-2013 school year. She absolutely loves working with children, and decided to join the Honey Grove team in 2013 to create a program with structure, stability, and an enjoyable atmosphere for all ages. Her goal is to maintain a staff that shows compassion, support, and care for all students involved in the Before and After School Program.

Emma graduated from Center Grove High School in 2011 with a special interest in childhood development and is currently enrolled at Ivy Tech. She started out at Honey Grove Educational Center in 2011 in a preschool class and within the next year, began working in the Before and After School Program. She is now the lead teacher at Maple Grove for the Before and After program. Emma’s goal is to have each child enjoy their time at Honey Grove, having fun and expanding on their learning experience. She believes in creating a good relationship with the children and families with open communication. Emma has always had a passion for children, she is very motivated to help each and every child learn and grow.

Hallie has worked for Honey Grove since August 2012 and is currently pursuing a degree in management and a minor in general education. She wants each child to feel welcomed and safe. Her goal is to have each student look forward to attending Honey Grove and have each parent feel comfortable leaving their child with our staff. She loves going to all the elementary schools and have the kids run up and give her hugs. She loves to see all the children enjoy their Before/After school experience.
